The field of genetics does not belong to science alone. It crosses legal, ethical, religious, societal, medical and familial boundaries. The multi-disciplinary reach of genetics makes it an ideal topic for discussion in many educational settings -- for students, patients, healthcare practitioners, support groups, genetic counselors and others who have a stake in genetics and genetic research.

A Question of Genes: Inherited Risks features seven stories that explore individual experiences with genetic testing and the choices that result. This area of the Web site gives you everything you need to use A Question of Genes in a classroom or other educational setting -- including individualized Discussion Guides for each of the seven stories presented in the film, links to Resources for Educators, plus an Educator Bulletin Board to let you share your ideas and questions with educators around the country.

If you are using A Question of Genes in an educational setting with students, patients, colleagues or others interested in genetics and ethics, please take a moment to let us know how it's going and what you're doing. We'd love to hear from you!
